DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

General

The Croatian National Theater in Split is obligated to ensure the accessibility of its website by the Law on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of the Public Sector of the Republic of Croatia ("Narodne novine," number 17/19).

  • The contrast between the background and text on some parts of the page is not adapted for visually impaired individuals
  • Some documents still need to be fully adapted for screen readers
  • Some icons and links are not of satisfactory size
  • Tables are used for displaying tabular elements and achieving a visual layout of elements on the page
  • Tables lack a caption element, and column headings are not defined using the elements
  • Audio/video materials do not have an included or associated translation recording in Croatian sign language
  • Audio/video materials need more suitable subtitles, descriptions, and transcripts
  • The use of the keyboard as an alternative method of task execution is not enabled
  • A slider is used on the homepage without an alternative option
  • There is no alternative method for presenting information, such as text audio recordings
  • Adjustments Made to the Website

Currently, the Croatian National Theater in Split can only adapt the website to some requirements due to the existing design of the website, i.e., the implementation of the Law requires a complete redesign of the website https://www.hnk-split.hr/.
