Martina Šendo Concert

Pianist Martina Šendo, a student at the Academy of Arts in Split, will perform for the audience pieces by Šipuš, Debussy, Prokofiev, and Chopin as part of a series of concerts featuring young musicians mo.  Vinko Lesić.

Martina Šendo received her basic music education in her hometown of Ploče. She is continuing her studies at the Luka Sorkočević High School of Arts in Dubrovnik under Prof. Katarina Šnajder. During high school, she won high awards at national and international competitions in Croatia and the region. In 2021, she enrolled in the piano department at the Academy of Arts in Split, studying with Prof. Vesna Podrug Kossjanenko. She is actively involved in chamber projects and concerts during her studies. In June 2024, she performed as a soloist with the HNK Split orchestra at the Croatian National Theatre, where she played a movement from Chopin’s Piano Concerto in F minor. Her goal is to develop and strive for high-quality artistic expression and to gain concert experience.
