He was born in Sinj on 14 June 1981, where he completed his primary and secondary education. He began pursuing musical arts in 1999 when he enrolled in the Josip Hatze Secondary Music School in Split, where he excelled and achieved exceptional results. In 2003, he enrolled in the Arts Academy of the University of Split.
He attended the Academy in the class of Nelli Manuilenko and successfully graduated with honours in July 2007, earning the title of Academic Musician – Solo Singer and Professor of Singing.
During his studies, he performed as a soloist in numerous concerts, such as in the roles of Bartolo and Figaro in selected excerpts from Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, as well as in Evenings of Opera Arias and Duets by Young Soloists at the Croatian National Theatre (HNK) Split. These notable performances paved the way for his engagement as a soloist at the Split national theatre house.
Even as a high school student, he won numerous awards at singing competitions, and he continued to accumulate competitive success during his studies. Among these, his participation in the Second International Rijeka "Belcanto" Competition in 2006 stands out, where he reached the finals and performed at the gala concert accompanied by the orchestra of the Croatian National Theatre "Ivan pl. Zajc".
He enrolled in postgraduate artistic specialisation at the Academy of Music in Zagreb under Prof. Giorgio Surian, which he successfully completed in March 2012 with the role of Banquo in Verdi's opera Macbeth.
In 2014, he won the award for the absolute winner of the 5th category in opera singing at the "Bruna Špiler" competition in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. In the same year in Osijek, at the 2nd International Singers' Competition "Lav Mirski," he won the first prize in his category and was simultaneously named the Laureate of the competition. Along with numerous awards received at that competition, he was also granted the HNK Osijek award, which offered him two opera roles.
He has attended numerous singing seminars with distinguished professors, including Snježana Bujanović, Olivera Miljaković, Gerhard Zeller, Marvin Keenze, Biserka Cvejić, and others.
Since 2006, he has collaborated with the Croatian National Theatre Split as an opera soloist, debuting in the role of Pietro in Verdi's opera Simon Boccanegra. This was followed by a series of notable roles: Benoît and Colline in Puccini's La Bohème, Zaccaria in Verdi's Nabucco, Wagner in Gounod's Faust, Eliakim in Frane Parać's opera Judita, Betto and Notary in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, Basilio in Rossini's The Barber of Seville, Vornić in Josip Hatze's Adel and Mara, Banquo in Verdi's Macbeth, Master Marko in Gotovac's opera Ero the Joker, Micha in Smetana's The Bartered Bride, Dr. Grenvil in Verdi's La Traviata, King in Aida, Andronik in Mira Krstičević's opera Atlantis, Marquis of Calatrava and Surgeon in Verdi's The Force of Destiny, Il Commendatore and Masetto in Mozart's Don Giovanni, and Raimondo in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, which he premiered at the HNK Zagreb.
In Gotovac's opera Mila Gojsalića, he performs the roles of Kolumbat and Topan–Pasha, Capellio in Bellini's opera I Capuleti e i Montecchi, and the Sacristan in Puccini's Tosca.
Alongside his operatic repertoire, he also performs sacred music, notably including Giacomo Puccini's Messa di Gloria and the Requiems by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Giuseppe Verdi.
Since 2008, alongside his artistic career, he has also worked as a teacher. He is a permanent employee of the Makarska Secondary Music School and holds a state professional teaching exam certificate. As a professor, he is particularly noted for the success of his students, who regularly win awards and gain entry to music academies.
