Remus Dimache

He was born in 1981 in Bucharest, Romania. He began his formal ballet education in his hometown, completing it in 2000 at Liceul de Arta si Coregrafie Octavian Stroia in Cluj-Napoca. In the same year, he attended Mintz Dance School in Germany, after which he joined the Pecz Ballet Company in Hungary, where he danced in both modern and classical ballet repertoire, as well as in operas and operettas (Lady with Camellias, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Zorba the Greek, etc.). In 2001, he became a Croatian National Theatre Split Ballet soloist. He is also involved in pedagogical work at the CNT Split Ballet Studio for which he received recognition as a mentor and choreographer at the 10th Croatian Competition of Contemporary Dance "Mia Čorak Slavenska."

  • Third prize at the Olympiad of Classical Ballet in Galați, Romania, 1998.

  • First prize at the Oleg Danovski Classical Ballet Competition, 1994.
